Yes. Our policy limits of liability are $1,000,000 each claim/$3,000,000 Physician Aggregate /$7,000,000 Total policy aggregate under a claims-made policy form.

Our current retroactive date is December 31, 2000 and will remain unchanged as we continue to renew this policy. This ensures continuous coverage for any covered act, which occurred after the retroactive date and prior to the expiration, cancellation or non-renewal date of the current policy while your work for or at the direction of Whitaker Physicians Services, L.L.C.
There will be no coverage provided by the policy for acts committed or services that should have been rendered if the practitioner is under the influence of any chemical dependency.

What is your credentialing process for healthcare professionals?
It is a policy at Whitaker Medical for all healthcare professionals performing services under contract to be carefully screened by our Credentialing Department. We have a responsibility to implement a precise process to select and evaluate our healthcare providers that represent Whitaker Medical. This department is dedicated to verifying licenses, making sure they are current and in good standing, verifying medical degrees, verifying that Continued Medical Education (C.M.E.) requirements are up to standard, reviewing malpractice history, interviewing references through primary source verification, and verifying past work experience. Whitaker Medical is currently adhering to the standards of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in an effort to become certified. NCQA is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to evaluate and report on the quality of the nation's managed care organizations and certification is open to any organization that performs the specified functions and is not eligible for NCQA's accreditation.
